This local breakfast restaurant is located within the stop & shop plaza and has plenty of parking. I ordered scrambled eggs and home fries, which were tasty and cooked just right. The waitress was friendly and attentive and there was a short wait for my food. Overall, a good place for a basic breakfast.

Good food and very friendly service. I had the daily special omelette with turkey bacon, feta cheese and spinach. It was good but the turkey bacon was a bit hard and chewy. The potatoes looked weird but they were tasty. Loved the apple fritter, very yummy. My friend had the Spanish omelette and a side of a pancake. He said the omelette was good but the pancake was not that great. My other friend had the Monte Cristo sandwich and loved it. Overall a good breakfast place but nothing too special.

My favorite weekday breakfast spot to meet friends! Mary, the sweetest, peppiest and kindest server, always stops by our table to greet us and offer a hug. Emerald’s has a gem in Mary! This restaurant reminds me of the good ole’ days… similar to an A.C. Petersen’s! They are consistent with their offerings each and every time and reasonably priced.

Our first time here. Clean, casual and comfortable atmosphere. Our host (Alina) was pleasant and attentive. Definitely a local favourite as many repeat customers coming in and out the eatery. Gets busy so patience is importance if you want a good experience. The food, service and overall atmosphere really good. Another eatery that’s going on our go to list. We will return.

A solid 5. Great find near my hotel. The 3 egg veggie omelette is chock full of fresh vegetables and cheese. Plenty of leftovers for another breakfast at work. The side of bacon was totally worth it. The home fries were cooked just right and not greasy. The rye toast from NYC is to die for. Kevin's coffee is very good. The server is very friendly and the kitchen is prompt. She did the follow up which is hard to find in most places these days. The ambiance is just right.

We went for brunch today. And had vegi omelet without cheese and home fries. Pancakes and sausage, Philly omelette, and cheese omelet. The omelet and the fries were balanced with the saltines. The waitress and the staff were friendly. The pancakes were not that great they were just okay. That's a bummer lol. But other omelettes were and the fries were good to try.

This place has been a main stay in south windsor for a reason, the food is cooked perfectly and the prices are right. The staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very clean and there's tons of seating so no problem getting in. We had breakfast and everyone was satisfied. No problems here.

Super friendly service. They were busy on a late Saturday morning, but we had no complaints on the service. Pancakes were not bad, but the veggie omelette and home fries were great. Kids menu options were very limited and the Mickey pancakes, while cute, were very plain. They didn’t have any fruit toppings or whipped cream or even powdered sugar to make it fun like we’ve had at other breakfast places in and around SW. Overall, food was good and location is convenient with plenty of parking, so I would definitely come back again.
